about

Soldier Hard speak about the SOLDIER OF THE BAY ALBUM:

As I think about this project, i can't help to notice, the good and the bad points of this album. As i look back on past projects i released, i must say this album mean the world to me, i grew a lot, i grew a lot as a person, and a lot as an artist. You can hear the matureness in the recordings as I perfect my craft. I had a blast creating this album, How ever! I am saddened because 90% of the songs you all will hear was made while I was serving in the United States Army. 50% of the songs on the album, I actually was wearing the Army Combat Uniform while recording in the studio. Most of the songs on "Soldier of the Bay" I was deployed when I created them. and lastly, I am sadden because this is the last album I will EVER create as a Soldier in the US Army. Being an Artist is a blessing, and it feels sooooo good, but imagine being an Artist and a Soldier at the same time, recording after a long day in the Army, it was great! But now those days are over and done with, So now? There will never be experiences like my past 7 CD projects, I will have new one's! But none of my future CD's will ever compare to the albums i created as a Soldier in the BADDEST Army in the world, in combat zones, & in foreign places one would never think i'd be possible to record at. And I will never forget those times, music saved my life, because not matter how i look at it, It SAVED ME!..... NOW! I may not be in the Army anymore, but a Soldier, I will ALWAYS be and no one can take that away from me!
